I played Marquette. I was on St John's yesterday, but feel this is a tough matchup for them against a solid defensive opponent.

yes I am I know marquette program from milwaukee. 4 points is to many. First of all marquette had problems preparing for this game they had to share a ymca court with kids and first 20 minutes of practice was a mess. Marquette team this year is one that always finds itself in close games. This is not as good as team as last year that destroyed st. johns. St. Johns has height and athletes to give them alot of trouble and marquette doesn't pose matchup problems against st. johns. This will be a nail biter and marquette is not a good free throw shooting team in fact they don't even emphasize it at practice thats Buzz williams philosophyfree throw shooting is at the bottom of his list.

I like Marquette but this line is so difficult to judge. It has fluctuated all day with the percentages sticking around 70-78% on MU. Not sure how a line goes from 3.5 open to 4.5 then back down and currently at 4.5 again. I hear you with a lot of people being on MU today but the line movement supports it and I do NOT feel like this game is anything like yesterdays UCONN game where the public got hammered.

GL with your play, but I think ST Johns is a bad team, they got their one win and now a better MU team will show them how to play. Would love if the line closed at 4 or less.

No question that the public is all over Marquette at this small number.

However, the public doesnt lose all the time and 230 weekday daytime games arent where Vegas cleans up. After all, Joe is at work.

Personally, Im sticking with betting second halves for the entire BE tourney, but BOL if you play or fade the 'public' in this one.

don't be fooled by that haywood is like a 85% at the line which jacks up team average. I am telling you I watch this team see them at practice and they do not put an emphasis on free throw shooting. In crunch time it will haunt them.
