Have not seen one person on Miami of Ohio Ball St
is good but that is a lot of points on the
road.

We saw last night what happened when everyone was on Arizona.

Just me on here, as far as I can tell. Will hold off as long as possible to book this play. GL:weed:

Not yet. I hit Ball St. hard at a good number early. It is a mismatch and Miami is really bad. Still, anything can happen and it is a sandwich spot for the Cards. If it gets to 20 or above I may buy some back.

40 Degrees and light rain at kickoff.

It's less than 90 minutes to Oxford from where I live. Cold and overcast here today with occasional rain showers.

Supposed to go to game, but will enjoy watching the game on tv instead.

what about the fact that these 2 have played very close games for the last couple of years? i know they have gone in different directions this year but basically the whole team back for both squads - is this not a potential factor in tonight's game?

input would be appreciated

agreed, but Miami is really bad. Ball St has seperated themselve from their conference and we will see the evidence tonight...IMO anyway. Miami is 1-4 in a weak division.

Big Papi...
I understand about your thought with the public being on Ball

"We saw last night what happened when everyone was on Arizona."

However weekend money (winners) was like this
New York Giants 96%
GB 85% Plus
New England 70% plus
Pitt/Indy Over 85% plus
Indy 80% plus

All where the public and smart money got it right. So even though I am on Ball St this could be a good point. But I think Ball State is the better play and the spread is trying to get to a point where it becomes a better choice for the money which in my mind is around 21 or 23. The ball doesn't always bouce the way we expect though.

Just my two cents

Cheers

:director: COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS ALL ABOUT EMOTIONAL SITUATIONS. I AM BETTING THESE KIDS ARE LIKE ANY OTHER 18-20 YEAR OLDS, READING THE PAPERS, READING HOW BAD MIAMI IS AND HOW GOOD THEY ARE. tHEY PLAYED THE PERFECT GAME LAST WEEK AT HOME. THEY HAVE CENTRAL MICHIGAN ON DECK , AND ITS ON THE ROAD. THE OFFENSE MAY LEAN TO MORE RUNNING TONIGHT AND MORE OF A VANILLA APPROACH. wE KNOW BALL STATE IS A BETTER TEAM, AN EXPLOSIVE OFFENSE AND THEY HAVE 10 MILLION REASONS TO WIN OUT AND HOPE FOR A BSC BID, I DOUBT THEY WOULD GET THAT BID AND I DOUBT THIS TEAM WILL BE FULLY FOCUSED FOR TONIGHTS GAME WITH THE 2 STRONGEST TEAMS NEXT TO COME ON THERE SCHEDULE. this lined opened at 15 guys and the public has it all the way up to 20 at some places, factor 3 points for home team and the experts believe ball state is 18 points better, by opening the line at 15 and factoring the 3 point margin for home field.. I believe it will be a lower scoring first half as both teams will try to run the football. miami will play conservative and not one person on here has said one word about the importance of miami's punter who is fabulous and yes ball state will have to drive the whole fields tonight, i like the under and i lean towards miami and i am teasing in my thread with miami and under. I have been wrong before but alot of people on here are acting like this will be easy money, My money says it won't be! good luck to all.

I agree also. Maybe for some slight different statistical reasons. Ball St will get their points. The Miami D allows 5.7 yds/play. Ball St has scored 31, 24, 41, 42, 41 and 35 points against similar defenses this year. The problem is that Ball States defense is not that good and will give up points. Ball St D allows 5.2 yards per play. This figure usually results in anywhere from 20 to 27 points for the opposing team. I see a home Miami O offense scoring 24 points. Ball State cant cover the 20 if that happens. I love a home dog whenever the public is all over the favorite !
