never missed one ... thought tonights was a 8 or so, certainly not the best ... theyve had some real clinkers this year, esp. Hurley getting in the VW--ouch!
the week after that i thought was by far best one of year--maybe ever, sub blowing up etc ...
that said, they toy with the viewer on this show like none other, and im a huge TV fan since the 60s ... they could tell this story in 2 years, its planned for 5 from what Ive heard and they handjob the viewer with filler BS 70% of time ... well thats how everyone gets more $$$
I love boston legal, ugly betty is funny. G Anatomy is a borderline chick show but usually good ... love Heroes too, but its off for like 6 weeks like all these shows do ... really like 6 degrees but it got the boot recently, JJ Abrahams show too ... Shark is good, someone on the board tipped me off to it, thanx
old shows that i never missed were seinfeld, nypd blue, american dreams, hill street blues, taxi, most anything Newhart did, old B&Ws that hold up for me tho i rarely watch them any more are: mayberry (fife!), beaver, hillbillies, Twilight zone ...
as for HBO love the sopranos, the wire, deadwood and carnivale while they were on
great stuff on PBS such as AMERICAN EXPERIENCE and FRONTLINE ... also History channel has had hundreds of great things, catch THE COLOR OF WAR sometime or THE 50s by david halberstam--classics
anyhow theres my 2 cents on TV--better than paying $10 for movies these days IMHO
