I have been checking out a few online papers, the Knoxville paper is still saying that he is out and has a break in his collerbone (shoulder), while the Charlotte paper is reporting that although he has taken no snaps in practice that he will be starting for the Vols on Saturday. This game is looking funny now, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vols win this game outright, it's just setting up that way.

This was taken from the SECSPORTS.com site:

Fulmer said it would be a game-time decision on whether junior Casey Clausen gets the nod at quarterback. The Vols signal-caller injured his left shoulder Saturday against Arkansas and has been limited in his practice work during the week. Possible replacements for Clausen are junior C.J. Leak, freshman James Banks and, perhaps, sophomore receiver and former high school quarterback Kelley Washington.

?We?ll have those other guys ready to go just in case, and I was really pleased with their performances out here the last couple of days,? Fulmer said. ?Casey?s got more starts and wins at quarterback than anybody in the conference and if he?s not too sore to play and looks like he?s ready to go, then we?ll make that decision at game time.?

You are correct, things are looking a little funny here!
I dont know if I can play the Vols in this game but I do know I cannot bet against them.

Question

In this situation doesnt it give Tenn Vols a big psychological advantage for Georgia Bulldogs not to know if Clausen will play or not. They prepare for him not to play and he starts the game ....
Then the bulldogs look at each other and go .....OH SHIT!

I think they do this to some extent . Not sure if it should affect our wagers though.
