Spanky,

Read the Toronto Star Sports and you'll get his explanation. He said that McKenzie started wailing on him so fast off the faceoff that Tie didn't have time to take gloves off, so he just covered up.

For a seven minute powerplay, it just might be worth the turtle.

He beat the crap out of McKay later on, anyway.

Tonight won't be as much fun.

He did the right thing, he suckered him into a fight. Tonight he will have his revenge.

Honus, played hockey and when our'tough guy 'sucked out' it deflatted our team.
Yes, a 7 minute P.Play is great if you put it to GOOD use and don't get beat 3-2 after you have a 2-0 lead and try and sit on it.
I'll watch the game tonight, as I jumped in on Leafs. Why would you not expect some goo old fashioned hokey- drop the bloddy gloves and fight like men -like Domi and Probert used to do...
Did you ever see Stan Johnathon (number 17 ) for Boston Bruins about 20 years ago. Toughest guy I've EVER seen go at it. He would have put Domi into a coma if they ever 'danced'.
Good luck if you played tonight....Spanky....

Played NJ tonight...see my post.

Also played and know what you mean. But, would take a 7-minute PP anytime.

Grew up in the era of the Broad Street Bullies and the early 70's Bruins so, yea, I know what tough is all about.

Domi did the right thing...at that particular time. At another time, maybe not. And, it wasn't his fault the Leafs blew the 2-0 lead. They are terribley inconsistent.
