Is Derek Jeter not the most aggressive balls out players there is out there today? I love how the guy lays out everything from day to day. That play tonight is what Derek Jeter is..... a great player. I havent seen a player like him in a long time. He reminds me a lot of the old time players back in the day. He is trully OLD SCHOOL
He may not put up the best numbers in the world, but I would want him over half of these bastards in the league. Just thought I needed to post this, especially since this whole NBA blowup " I wanna be traded or else....." "I hate this team" yadda yadda bullshit. A player who will live by his word, his contract, and play his whole career for one team because he believes in them, they are hard to find. Jeter is one of them, and well the first two other players i can think of are Tony Gwynn and Mark Grace (he wanted to stay in Chicago, even at pay cuts but the bastards of the Tribune Company wouldnt keep him on.
Oh yeah by the way, I hate the yankees, but I truly respect Jeter true PTPer.
