Has all this running / no fighting ruin Boxing.
So tired of seeing all this running and everyone calling it Boxing. This Taylor/Spinks fight, guys stand in the middle of the ring just dancing not doing shit. Cmon, throw a fken punch, LOL.

spinks only was on the bicycle for the twelth, the rest of the time he moves a lot, shows angles, etc. he boxes beautifully, but with no power he doesn't bust up the other guy. floyd mayweather is similar, but he's got enough power (at the lower weight) to stop people. big difference

Yea, and he dances real good too. Half the boxers in this world are frauds. Miranda and Pavlik were a breath of fresh air.

i have been a vocal about this before but its a catch 22. On one hand i want to see some of the old Leonard Hearns matches where i thought Lenorad boxed beautifly but also mixed it up. with Mayweather and Spinks they both are very good fighters but i guess if i was them i would do the same thing because lets be realistic this is a brutal sport. Do you want to speak like Hearns does or get your money and get out. Listen to Riddick Bowe talk. I can't understand a word he say's. The Pavlik fight was the kind i love but what will he be like 20 years from now? I can't imagine what Gatti will sound like. I know Mayweather probably won't sound any differently than he does today if he keeps on with his style. We the fans want to see a great fight but the slick fighters want to get paid and get out. Im not sure what is worse, watching Spinks dance around or John Ruiz and even Rickey Hatton holding all night.
