So. Cal
I don't kn0w but I am putting 2 units on Mich +4(100)

Losing to Wisky was the best thing that could have happened to this team. OSU is a fraud, just like they were last year, Mich will be playing out of their mind for their coach and the rivalry.

1 unit Clemson -7(120) I have said from preseason on that Clemson was going to surprise people, and here they are with a solid 8-2 and are rolling, while BC is reeling and are expected to drop a third straight. It just seems like this happens year in and year out that a team gets built up by the media and overachieves in the polls and loses and then they throw away their season cause they are not playing for a NC anymore and they go on a slide. Happened to Cal, happened to SF, happens to Mich St every year they start out with 4-0 and then shit the bed. I think it will happen to osu and bc this week again

thoughts and opinions welcome

boston, ma
you make some valid points re: teams losing interest after a couple losses--thats expected.

i'm a fan of clemson---not soo much tommy bowden as their duo of backs they have. spiller and davis are nasty--tough they really didnt make the kinda jump in progression as i imagined would from last year. that said--they're still very good. extremely talented. they lost chansi stuckey(drafted by nyj if not mistaken) who was a key receiver for them--though still have kelly(big kid) and grisham has stepped up---looking like their version of wes welker.
i remember having taken clemson vs BC as one of my biggest plays of the year last year. clemson owned BC from the jump--they passed, ran, played D though allowed BC to stay in game (spreadwise) with special teams. all of sudden a freshman smith(out most w/concussion issues this yr) was running back kicks and punts past the 50 ...continually getting back any momentum that the tigers had at time.
problem with clemson is they NEVER finish like they should. They know this---as they're whole deal this yr is written on shirts they wear. "supposedly" not wasted on players that they started like wildfire last year too--only to fade late. that said, i WAS a fan of ryan for BC more last year, than this. he (like running game of clem) hasnt made the stride i expected to from last year. perhaps the coaching change had some to do with it--and play selection--as BC quickly became a pass first team---which they never really were under obrien.

soo... i like clemson--their D gives me fits this year. their offense sputters at times when they should be putting their foot on oppoenents throats---what with davis/spiller and kelly and grisham...and harper is OK

i think BC tries to get back on a more bakanced attack this week---they have to to have a chance to win--which actually is the sticking point in me not being able to take clemson. from boston i heard all the hype around here when BC ascended to top of ranks by folly of other teams losses...and no they didnt deserve to be 2 or even top 15 IMO, and they got tight--specially ryan--and showed against VT. I think clemson is the better team--i think BC plays better AS A TEAM(specially their D)... gut tellin me that BC doesnt lose 3 in a row.

clemson doesnt finish--hard to really buy into that after pasting last four opps, including a decent, though offensively deficient maryland squad.

sorry to run on---i think it'll be a really good game. some good players to watch.
