WAGERWEB.COM POSTS NFL FOOTBALL BETTING ODDS ON: ?WHAT ROUND WILL FORMER VIRGINIA TECH QB MARCUS VICK BE SELECTED FOR IN THE UPCOMING 2006 NFL DRAFT??

(Zapote, Costa Rica, 09 January 2006) When is enough, enough? Well, that question appears to have been answered as Marcus Vick, the starting QB for this year?s Virginia Tech Hokies? squad, was kicked off the team for good this past week. Vick, who was seemingly always in some sort of trouble off the field, finally had his chance to have his success on the field taken away. Vick, the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Michael Vick, sat out the entire football season in ?04 due to trouble off the field.

With much promise, Vick came back to the team this year as their starting QB to lead the Hokies to a National Championship. However, it didn?t work out that way?Vick had moderate success this season, but has left much to be desired. The final straw was when Vick, during the team?s Gator Bowl win over Louisville, stepped on the leg of Cardinals DL Elvis Dumerville while he was on the ground. The move was one of the dirtiest you?ll ever see a collegiate football player make, and it embarrassed both the university and the athletic program. Vick has made it known that he thinks that it was ?not a big deal? and he will just go on to the ?next level, baby?.

"Vick caused nothing but problems while at VA Tech," said Wagerweb.com (http://www.wagerweb.com/) CEO Dave Johnson. "He had all the talent in the world, but seemed to not take it seriously when it came to his future. Vick will likely take his chances at the NFL, but many sources are telling me he might not even be drafted if he decides to come out. We have taken a large number of wagers on Vick not even being selected in the upcoming NFL draft. Personally, I think we are looking at the next Maurice Clarett. I've made him a 3 to 1 not to be drafted.?

Wow! Maybe I'm missing something here with his personal thoughts. Maurice Clarett got drafted. Great comparison with the type of bet your offering!
