Arizona at Oregon. . . line is Oregon laying just 1 point and nearly sixty percent are on Arizona.

Now maybe this will change, but I just don't get it. . . personally, I think Walton is overrated by how much everyone thinks he means to this team. . . the real struggle has come from Gardner lately as he has been ice cold from the field. Can we all the sudden expect this to change in Eugene tomorrow night? I personally doubt it.

Another problem. Arizona's defensive setup allows their opponents to get many easy looks at 3's. Take a look at it sometime and you'll see I'm right. Arizona likes to collapse on the inside and allow the long ball to be taken as opposed to guarding everyone equally. The Ducks shoot the ball incredibly well at home and Arizona's defensive setup will not prevent the Ducks from getting several good looks at the three all night long.

Anyways, I think everyone knows my biased for the Cats, but when I saw this line I couldn't believe the respect my Cats were getting. . . they simply do not deserve it YET (hopefully that changes in early March).

I agree with that one as well. . . not sure why that line is so low so I think I'll just stay away from NC State. As far as the Arizona line. . . still don't understand this one at all. Fully expected Oregon to be a 4 to 5 point favorite.

line tells me its arizona or nothing in that one. i dont follow ANY trends, but i will rarely back a home favorite of 2 or less in hoops, as they are very poor plays over the long run. theres been times where i blindly play road dogs of 2 or less purely out of principle and have cashed em very very well. i figured oregon would be 3 or 4 pt chalk. low line says zona or nothing imo.

Hope you're right gman. . . obviously I want to see my Arizona team win. . . but I'm just wondering if people are paying attention to the rankings instead of how both teams are really playing right now. Arizona has struggled on the road, Oregon always one of the most difficult places to play and come away with a win.

I'll sit back and watch this one hoping the public is right this time.

I coattailed you many a night. You're good. I will play Oregon or I won't play the game. I agree that Arizona is a high public play against anyone. I really don't think they have been dominating and the public perception probably of Oregon is still down after cincy pasted them on national tv couple of weeks ago. Oregon is an extremely tough place to play and I think it will show tonight.

two things of note.

1) from what ive read/seen, public is very split on this game. this is hardly a public-heavy-on-zona game. public loves the run and gun ducks at home layin only a point or two. both tms attracting their share of action. most consensus sites are damn near 50/50. a big anti-public play would be when a side is upward of 70% public choice. but this is seems split

2) zona is much more sound defensively than oregon, which is why i lean to the cats. its the pac 10 obviously. nobody truly plays defense. but when it comes down to nut cutting time, zona at least shows SOME defensive pride. their last few gms, theyve relied on some tougher than normal defense. to get back in the lsu gm, they played ok D.

good luck to all with the ari/org game. you guys have talked me into a pass on this game. one thought though, if the line goes up to 3 or so with the consensus being split, i will play oregon for maybe a dollar no more assuming they (vegas) want one to bet zona.
