115.5/116 that is a lower total than any game in the big ten?? cant figure out why it would be so low. Anyone have any clue why?

buckeye fan, good eye. It does look weird. A few things to consider:
1) Looks like it opened at 112.5, so it's already gone up.
2) The Pac-10 is a poor defensive conference, but these are by far the best defensive teams in the conference.

GL if you play the game, but I could see where the perspective of 116 is about right.

*wazzou slows the tempo to a crawl
*wazzou has the worst scoring offense in the pac-10 (57.7ppg)
*both teams are excellent on defense
wazzou #1 in scoring defense at 59.3

*arizona is a fast break team and they only managed 61 pts at wsu
*wazzou already a team that does not shoot well from the field and with stanford holding the opposition to under 40% from the field- highly doubtful wsu is gonna get into an up and down game
the fewer the # of possessions in this game = the greater chance washington state has of staying in it.
im not suggesting an under play by any means. but i think once you get past the "shock value" of seeing a sub-120 total, the number looks about right

buckeye, I played UNDER 116. More I looked at it, Wazzu offense may stall out. Two disciplined teams. Neither will play out of their comfort zone imho. I'm backing the under here, despite the low #.
