I know everyone and their mother is going to take GB tonight. Just like everyone took the rams last week. Why wouldn't you? Jags blow ass and the pack is an overall better team giving up a measely 3 points on the road. I see no value in betting on the jags. Neither does anyone else. THIS IS WHAT SCARES ME!!

I do trust myself with my picks but I hate it when I read all of these posts and it's only on one side. These games are either the bookie's worst nightmare or best wet dream!! Somebody please tell me betting on the pack is stupid because I know I represent a lot of folks who think tonight's a sure lock.

I'm hoping this turns out to be a great game to watch.

Jags are 4-0 SU on MNF

PointWise:

The Jags have been a disappointment over the past 2 seasons.
Following their 62-7 annihilation of Peps (sorry homie) Fins in the '99 playoffs, they've compiled a SU record of 10-17.
Their once proud "O" ranked 27th in the NFL entering last weeks game with the Ravens.
Losing in the final 0:09 was a killer, but maybe an awakening of sorts.

Pack is again among the elite, but note topping 21 pts in only 1 of their last 5 outings.

Jags are 9-3 ATS when hosting the NFC, while GB enters on a 3-10 spread run vs the AFC.

Home dogs on Mondays are always worth a look, but not involved.

taking Jags as a teaser...

Jax +9.5 under 49

GB is the superior team, but I can't see laying more than 3 points to a team with a series of close losses.

Not trying to dump on these trends, but,I don't play trends or streaks. I really don't think it matters to G.B. that the Jags are 4-0 on Monday Night, etc, etc.
Ijust try to play the 'logical play'and most times it is the 'dog'.But tonight,I just don't see how Jags keep it close.Emotion only goes so far,as will this hurting Jag team.
Good luck...Spanky....

Interesting stats senor. I remember reading those last week about TB. And of course, they ending up being pretty accurate. I'm going to try to see value in the jags this afternoon but it's hard. they do suck pretty bad. I think that last week's game was a "trick" game. st. louis, -10, at home, there was something too fishy about the last MNF. But I don't think that about this week's game. I think the better team will simply win. Plus, you really don't have to worry about giving up TOO many points. (eventhough you still give up probably 3.5) Hopefully, Favre won't have any picks and the jags will be predictable.

I've read a theory that a last second loss such as Jacksonville experienced last week makes for strong emotional motivation the next week. The number seems smaller than necessary,if the Pack is the side, which seems to be inciting a lot of Green Bay action. It seems many of the Pack Backers would play them at a higher price, which would worry me if I were one of them.Best of Luck!
