Hi all. Sorry to make this my first post but I am new to this forum in the posting. I have been following many of you all year and some strong work occurring here! Week 17 makes me wonder. Is this week worth playin? I know some teams need to win to get in but some will be resting and only playing the starters for a series if that. So what is on the board that I should be looking at? Just trying to get an idea...

the last four threads before you deal exactly with your question. if you want more, go to the "match-up forum", where each game is discussed individually.

Grendel: There is no question that a different set of handicapping rules is in effect for the last week of the season. There are different things to look for. I went back to last year's Hilton Contest and found 2 guys who finished in the money and who went 5-0 the last week of the season. It could be just luck, but evidently they know something about handicapping the last week. They are in the contest this year: CHICAGO PETE and THE BIG FIVE.

Their picks are as follows:
Chic Pete: NYG, Wash, Chi, Miami, KC
The Big Five: Wash, SF, Buff, Jets, KC

Based on this I'm making big plays on Wash and KC.
