Also, Mike (and I feel like I can call you that since we were both once invested in the debacle that was the Knicks)... What the fuck did you think would happen when you play with one undersized center as the only big-man and chose to use Harden to guard 7'0" Pau Gasol? Small ball is great. It's entertaining and has changed the NBA, but it only goes so far. Meanwhile, Pop is playing his bigs heavy minutes taking advantage of obvious mismatches. What the fuck Mike!... Mike?... Mike?? You there, buddy???
I'm not sure yet, but I'm gonna need something to offset the surefire losers that are the props I played on Harden over 2.5 3pt FGs made and over 29.5 Pts. I don't see how anyone can make a 2H play until we see some recognition from D'Antoni that he needs to address the mismatches going on. He hasn't figured it out in 24 minutes, so what makes me think he'll figure it out in the next 15? If anything, my experience from watching him coach every game of four seasons with this Knicks is that he is a stubborn man that refuses to adjust when his "system" isn't working. What we are seeing here (and the last game) is that Nene is a much bigger loss for the Rockets than anyone could have perceived. Bigger than the loss of Parker for the Spurs, for sure.

Oddsmakers gave Houston an 18% chance to come back and win this game based on the 2nd half line (adjusted spread of -19). So far, nothing about this first half, or the start of this 3rd quarter, gives me any indication that the Rockets should be anywhere close to that projection.
I dont mind picking a loser. I know for sure im not going to win them all.
