I know there's a fantasy thread, but it literally gets ZERO traffic there. Really blows at a sports forum. Draft Kings and Fanduel are fantasy related, so maybe here would be better?

Robert Griffin III has been named the Cleveland's starting quarterback by Browns coach Hue Jackson.

The announcement was expected after RG3 signed a two-year, $15 million free-agent contract with Cleveland during the offseason following his release from Washington. Jackson made it official on Monday, saying ''it's time'' and that Griffin ''has earned the right to be named the starting quarterback.''

Griffin has had a strong training camp under Jackson, who is in his first season in Cleveland. Griffin beat out veteran Josh McCown, whose future with the team is uncertain.

You guys got any sleeper QB's to get late that will produce? That's always been my strategy....stay away from the Rodgers, Newtons, Lucks and bulk up other spots with elite players then get a mid tier QB that puts up very close numbers to the top so called elite QB's. There's always a few every season that do. I went with Eli Manning last year he did VERY good for me! Had a handful of games scoring 30+ points and maybe a couple dud games. Even the elite guys are going to have dud weeks. I'm eyeing Eli again this season as that offense is going to probably be better and run more plays under McAboo 2nd season! Doesn't hurt Eli throws to the best WR in the league in Beckham Jr! Antonio Brown is pretty good LOL!! Their schedule is very favorable too! Eli has cut down drastically with the stupid INT's also. Anyway......I can see Matt Stafford being a late round STEAL! I think Megatron being gone is actually going to be a good thing for Stafford not having to force the ball all the time to him and he was a totally different QB when they got new offensive coordinator mid season last year. Check his stats!! From week 10 on he threw 19 TDs to 2 INTs!! Now he's going to start the season with this guy and their schedule is very favorable for Stafford to have a lot of big games! Lots a favorable road games and they most likely will be playing from behind so more passing will be there. He's got a very good WR corp with new comer Marvin Jones, Golden Tate and they signed Anquan Boldin! The offense also does a lot of dunks to the RB's that get lots of pass yards for the QB! I could be wrong here, but it looks pretty damn good right now. I like Rivers also and maybe Matt Ryan, but Ryan is night and day at home vs on the road. Can't have that. Derek Carr could have a monster year and Tanneyhill could very well get back to his numbers he had in 2014 under new coaching staff.

On fire in here!! :mj07: Still a bit early, but this is no good........

What's the key to scoring a good grade when you do mock drafts? I've done a few on Yahoo and in the end I feel I have very solid teams and keep getting graded C's and D's! I know it doesn't mean much, but don't get it

Ignore the draft grades, that is geared towards the obvious selections on rankings. The key to doing well in your league is doing what you mentioned, finding value at positions with guys not ranked as high but producing. And it ultimately matters at what kind of scoring you have for what position to go after in early rounds.. what kind of league you in? standard? Ppr? Whats the roster? How many teams do you have? A few QBs I'm looking to grab in later rounds hopefully that I believe will produce are Palmer, Winston, and maybe Dalton. I think these 3 should be available in most leagues later rounds. I believe it is very important to get a top tight end as the drop off in this position is quick and drastic.

:0074.....I play in a couple leagues, but my main one is a PPR league. Standard lineup.....I'm definitely eyeing Palmer as well!!! I love that team this year! Super bowl bound for sure barring health. D Johnson is going to produce as expected! Bank on it! I love Gronk at the TE, but for me not worth making him a #1 unless you have 10th-12th pick and he's there. At that spot all the elite guys would be gone. I don't know why J Reed will not produce again if he's healthy. Him and Cousins got a great chemistry and Skins will be playing with chip on their shoulder as everyone is doubting they repeat division winners again! I think G Olsen and T Kelce will have great years at the TE also! Kelce is A Smiths favorite target! Will get lots of balls his way. Just needs to get in the end zone more. Fleener for NO is the talk of the sleeper TE's. Could be good, but risky.

Andy Dalton should have a great year fantasy wise too!! I've done some mocks and got Palmer and Dalton both! Need a good back up with Palmer's age

Eagles acquired WR Dorial Green-Beckham from the Titans in exchange for G/T Dennis Kelly.

Green-Beckham had clearly fallen out of favor with the Titans' coaching staff, but it is still stunning they decided to trade a 2015 second-round pick for an at best swing lineman. Despite his struggles, Green-Beckham probably has the most natural talent of any receiver on the Eagles' roster and should push for a role behind Jordan Matthews. That said, he struggled to earn snaps in a similarly lackluster receiver corps in Tennessee. While this trade certainly breathes life in DGB's fantasy outlook, he is still nothing more than a flier at this point.

Fellow disappointment Nelson Agholor could be on his way out of the starting lineup.

It's such a shame that Dorial hasn't performed up to his potential yet or if he ever will. Coming out of high school I thought for sure was gonna dominate the league one day. His high school highlight video looks like Calvin Johnson playing against high school freshman lol

I will not draft TE's before round 7....I like Fleener, Ertz, Walker, or Allen later on....

I like Palmer but don't like his age so will take him later on....

I like Eli, Rivers, Stafford....

Dalton will be without his #2 & #3 receivers & offensive coordinator from last year so to me he is shaky as a #1....

Good luck

Thanks AR! Good insight......read yesterday Fleener is a "work in progress", so reaching for him would be risky. I have a feeling Martellus Bennet is going to excel with the Pats!! I know it's the Gronk show, but Bennett is legit! Aaron Hernandez got lots of balls his way back then when they ran the double tight end look. They didn't get him to just sit. He's going to be on the field. Jared Cook could be a sleeper in Green Bay too....

As far as QB's.....on the same page with you 100%! I never reach for a so called "elite" QB. Won my league two years ago with Cutler lol! Had Eli last season did very good for me!! Lots of big fantasy point games! Their schedule is very favorable too! I also think Rivers has a very big bounce back year for him! Ken Wisenhunt is back and Rivers excelled big time with him before! The schedule is very favorable also! I'd go Tom Brady if those two are gone........plenty of solid QB's to fill in until he gets back. Thanks for the insight on Dalton....I'll be scratching him off my list. Could affect AJ Green's value as well. I do think Jeremy Hill is going to have solid season there!

Stafford also I like A LOT!! It would be a big gamble having him as your starter, but his stats were OFF THE HOOK the last 6-7 weeks of the season last year!!! 19 TD's 2 INT's something like that with that new OC! Most are seeing big regression with no Megatron, but I think he proves them wrong! Stafford is a gun slinger and has a great core of WR's Tate, Jones and Boldin!! Lions will probably be playing from behind a lot which means a ton of passing! Very similar situation to Cutler couple years ago.....Bears would get so behind Cutler would be chucking it all game putting up the fantasy points!! The only difference is Cutler had Marshall who is elite....Lions don't have an elite.

GL to you! Any other insight keep it coming......

The Madjacks league drafts tonight after that I will divulge my strategy and sleepers. The site we use doesn't give out the number one pick til 30 minutes before hand. In a ppr league the best player is in Pittsburgh

Thanks Bleed! Lookin forward to it.....we all know AB is #1 WR, but I'm lookin for ODB to have a huge year!! Sounds nuts but I'll take him over AB. Giants schedule is soft plus ODB is going into his 3rd season which usually receivers blossom big time! Either way you can't go wrong but just seems every year the one guy who's nuts everyone is all over seems to not do as expected. That's AB this year....he'll get his numbers but feel ODB will be right there if not better

Curious....

How many TE's & QB's do you usually have on your roster?

What position do you usually place as your Flex (Use ESPN) ?

I usually only have 1 TE and 2 OB's. Flex....all depends on who I end up drafting. I have done the double TE in the past it worked ok, but I don't mind putting WR or RB there
