Is this wager graded correctly????

I rarely play teasers.......so perhaps some madjackers can help me out here.........

I am not sure if this teaser is graded correctly? I won 3 outta 4 games and pushed on the 4th game. I know it says "ties push" so the teaser isn't a loss, but if you go 3 outta 4 and a push, why didn't it "drop down" to a 3 team teaser? Shouldn't I have won 100 dollars (instead of the 200 if I went 4/4)

All Ties Push -- and it works both ways. If you lost one of those games, and you pushed that total, the teaser would still be a push.

Better question, why in the world are you teasing WNBA totals? j/k bud.

I've done two teamers in the NFL before where I've lost the first game, tied the second, and got my wager bet.

As far as my understanding all ties push.

I guess I look at it the other way, teaser players benefit from this rule as much as they get snakebit by it. Really not a screwjob since those are the rules going in.

If it says "All Ties Push" then that's exactly what happens, win or lose.

Just got this off the 5Dimes site, which seems to be a bit of contradictory information in regards to what I'm telling you. Not sure what book you were using, but if it was 5Dimes you might have a winner on your hands. Looks like there are two sets of rules out there based on the books, and this outlines them both.

Teasers - Teaser wager payoffs depend on how many teams are selected and how many points are given to each team. Payoffs for football and basketball teasers are shown in the tables below. If there is a tie in one or more of your individual parts, then the wager steps down to the next lower number of teams. If a two-team teaser has a tie and a winner, then the teaser pushes, "No Action."

If a two-team teaser has a tie and a loser, the teaser loses. You may have your account set up for "Vegas" teaser rules (a tie and a loser = a TIE). By choosing this option, the account will not be eligible for bonuses of any kind. Only teasers played AFTER choosing this option will apply for the "Vegas" rules. Not all accounts will be eligible for this rule change.

5Dimes reserves the right to change teaser payouts on an individual account at any time without prior notice.

Teaser was from a madjack sponsor, I don't want to say which book because it is very possible I am in the wrong and they graded the wager correctly. Logically it makes sense that I should have won money.....right:shrug:


And I am now officially confused.........guess it is time to contact the guru Jack.......

Ties Reduce: A tie in a Parlay or Teaser will reduce the number of plays in the parlay or teaser. For example, if there are two ties in a 4-play parlay/teaser, it will become a 2-play parlay/teaser and the payout will be recalculated based on the new number of plays. A 2-play parlay with 1 tie would reduce to a straight bet. In cases in which a parlay is reduced to zero plays or a teaser is reduced to 1 play, the entire wager will be cancelled and the bet amount will be refunded.

All propositions must cover for the parlay or teaser to be considered a win (exception: ties reduce; see above). If any proposition loses, the entire parlay or teaser will be considered a loss. There are no partial payouts.

I read the rules.......and it says:

** Any push in a teaser with 3 teams or more will go to the next lowest number of teams.
