No, I am referring to the financial situation. How much have the Neocons spent in Iraq?

Hopefully 15-20 years down the road we can consider it money well spent. The war didnt go as smothly as anyone wanted it to of course, but you cant tell me that you dont think this war, and the soon to follow war in iran wasnt necessary.

I mean these people are really really evil. Its just not safe for anyone. I dont think most people really understand how different the culture is over there.

We have made huge strides over there, everything takes time.

Yeah, strides. I saw where oil production is almost back to Saddam era levels. Water and electricity, not so much.

Anyways, talk to me about these strides about 6 months to a year after the last of our troops have left.

Although you mentioned it yourself referring to others, I think that you're one of those that doesn't understand the history, tradition, culture and mores of that region.

We will not be leaving behind a peaceful democracy that is an ally of the United States.

He knows we will just raise taxes and come up with more money until were done over there.

How, exactly, do you think we've been paying for it for the last 5 1/2 years?

Mostly by borrowing money from China.

Now, you seem awfully enthused about our occupation, but you don't seem to want to contribute to the cause in the form of maybe rolling back the tax cuts of this admin.

I assume that you understand that someone, somewhere down the line will be paying, in one way or another, for our obscene deficit?

Who the f*ck starts two 'wars' and then cuts taxes?

Its not like anyone in this forum was rich enough to benefit from the bush tax cuts. Were part of the gop because we have beliefs that dont change day in and day out.

As i said before its not the bush administration that has gotten us into this credit crunch its the people. Not just the poor, many wealthy people have lost lots of their assets. We the people have done this, yet u guys still point the finger at one person/party.

Oh, I see. Take credit for the good economy, but run an hide from the bad economy. Jeez! Why apologize for these leaders?

"It's not my fault" is a defense not even the President has had the gaul to speak. Sounds like a lot of crybaby stuff to me. Can I get some cheese with that wine?
