Greg McDermott brings his 1st Iowa State team back to Cedar Falls to face his old team the Northern Iowa Panthers. Both teams run the same sets as the new Panther Head Coach is Ben Jacobson, who was McDermott's right-hand man the last couple of years. Rather than playing this one in the Panther's brand new basketball arena, it will be played in the UNI-Dome due to the need for more seats for this in-state battle.
Should be a hard-fought and close game, so I'll gladly take the generous points.
Iowa +9.5..... Iowa is bad, but Virginia Tech on the hardwood? Gimme the points here, too.
Purdue -2....home and a better team than the Cavs.
