...the 1st time in NCAA history a 1 seed gets booted in the first round. If the committee would be dumb enough to grant Gonzaga a #1 seed over Memphis for instance, they might lose in round 1. This team seems to always play up or down to its competition. I'm not serious when I say they would lose to a #16 seed (not that they will be #1 seed either) but to come withing a missed layup at the buzzer to beat the 12-17 Loyola Marymount Lions is absolutely awful. This team will go no further than the 2nd round.
