Is this true?
Hard to imagine them being much worse, but this is the issue that I've had with this sport for a long time now. Contact can't be avoided and decisions, by the refs, need to be done in real time--I get that; upgraded rules for reviewing calls (not the charge/block only but many times) may or may not be helping...I'm not the best to judge same.
btw, not (completely) a gambling angle bicker. I did have cavs +12.5 and a bit on moneyline at +638, for game #1, but I am watching #2 with no action--couldn't touch this with a ten-foot-pole, unless I was going to lay the high points (-11.5 close, I saw) with the Warriors. Too...hmmm...complicated a sport for me to make any big risks on; must be lots that I don't get but the NBA seems like one of the more riskier propositions of the four major team sports.
btw2, NCAA hoops is way more appealing, for betting, imo.
