Outright plays (total stake per play: 1pt)

Bob Cameron to win 18/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Twice a winner last year, including the Sanremo Masters in Italy, Cameron finished 7th on the 2004 Seniors Order of Merit and is clearly a player who can win in this company. He came much closer to doing so last time out in Egypt than his 6th place finish suggests, he closed on the leader, David J. Russell early in the final round, but took seven on the final hole to finish four shots behind eventual winner, Bob Lendzion. Having also held the lead early in the previous Tour event in Tobago, his game is close to the level that it was last year and that makes him value at these odds.

David J. Russell to win 22/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
The basics of golf capping - current form and course form - point to Russell. He finished 2nd in his last outing and was 2nd on this course in its inaugural year last year. On both occasions he held the lead heading into the final round and on both occasions he finished one shot behind the winner. However, neither was a poor performance by Russell as Bob Lendzion needed to shoot 66 to pip him last time out and Terry Gale birdied three of the last four holes to overtake him down the final stretch last year. Barring any great finishes by his opponents again, he looks well-prepared to make amends this week.

Chuck Milne to win 50/1 e.w. @ SkyBet
Was on the shortlist for the last event in Egypt after his 4th place finish in Tobago, but was passed over and despite finishing outside the places, he was in the top-10 all week. A solid performance from a player who has won numerous senior titles in North-West U.S.A. and Canada and earned his Card for this Tour for 2005. He is certainly good enough to win here and it may even have helped that the winner of the last event was also an American.
