Help me out Doc, not sure of soccer rules.

I thought soccer offside rule was like Hockey, only the
defender acts like the blueline, right!

To me, the Italia player to the left of Toni is offside, he
looks like he's behind the defender while his Teamate
kicks the ball.

I dont think they like the Italian at all. Just like the Poland game, they award the Austria a penalty shot at the end there. :00x25

correct, but if you look closely, the last romanian guy, his back leg is out further than the back leg of the last italian player.

I know though, very close call and tough for ref o get it right all the time, especially given how close it was.
oh well

The one Italian player is very close to being offside,...so I wouldnt argue with that call.

Toni though is not offside and he is the one who gets the ball and scores the goal.

So the other player who doesnt seem to have bothered the keeper greatly doesnt matter, he remains passive...its what you call passive offside.

Hard luck for the Italians, though I'm not roooting for them...
