It's been in the 20s here past couple days but it been crazy warm.. 40s, that's shorts weather here for this time of year. Local economy is going to take a hit. No ski hills open, out door ice rinks aren't running, we have 25 so the squirt and some youth hockey teams aren't playing, no snowmobiles or ice fishing sales, no ice fishing will kill bait stores, one bait store won't even open can't sell minnows and with no people coming in and no liquor sales or bigger ticket item sales, winter clothing sales down too. Hate to say it but we need colder weather with some snow. On the plus side the heating bill has been great, way under on propane use. Predicting January to be 15 degrees above normal. Winter is going by fast up here in Northland just worried we will have a late late winter with snow in May
