good gravy...where to start. This will be a lengthy post so please bare with me.
Right now its 1:01 AM...Iam ready to go and get wasted at a local party, but I thought that I should stop by here first. The attedance was shit...everybody went to Massilon, Ohio to see a local high school play for the state champ game rather then watch the Rockets...what a bunch of fuc*ing idiots. It was sick to see a whole entire section of green, just sick to my stomach. then came the 1st quarter and then 2nd. 23-0! I was ssssoooooooooo depressed...I actually sat down rather then stand up. I put my Toledo hood on and dropped my head like a loser. I didnt give a shit about the money...its about pride when it comes to Marshall. then finally we get some damn points on the board for a 23-10 half with a TON of mementum on our side. All the Herd Terd fans wondering whats going on as we taunted them but they yelled "scoreboard.." and Toledo fans having no class we told themn to " F*ck OFF " Then it was a new game in the 2nd half. Like I said before they have to establish the running game to hurt that D and keep Leftwich on the sidelines. And thank god we did. Tom Ward and Paul Gibson on the D side stepped up HUGE for us. Fights between Rocket fans go HerdTerds going on. the best part was when Marshall got the TD in one play in the 3rd quarter..the cheerleaders waved there big ass flag right in front of the student section. So the idiots that we are...we grab the flag and tug on it and rip it up. After the game it was a swarm...we crowded around the Toledo players and sang the alma mater...and then came down the goalposts. What a beatiful site. Leaving the stadium its always great to flick off HerdTerd fans. This is the greatest game in Toledo history. Never did the players lose there confidence. and for weeks now I was saying Chester is our guy and he will eat up Marshall. 188 rushing yards 64 recieving yards and 2 TDs later...he proved that he can play in the NFL. And there we plenty of scouts there. trust me! One thing is for sure..it was windy as hell...I was freezing my balls off but when your pumped up...who cares?!
I would to thank everybody that supported me and have left me nice posts. I really appreciate it...alot! You guys are great. I finish 13-3-1(77%)sides and 2-0 (100%) totals for the MAC year. For those that took Marshall and lost..it was a good pick and we all saw why it was a good pick with a 23-0 lead. Turnovers will kill ya.
