OU didn't win its conference championship, but i dont see that as a prerequisite to winning a basketball national championship...but all of a sudden people want to make it for the football championship?

Computers are the most unbiased system we have...and they proclaim OU #1.....we all knew the game didn't matter last night for OU's claim to the title, but now all of a sudden everyone complains about it?

LSU vs. OU will be played for the Sears trophy...the hardware....thats the system we have and USC can cry all they want but maybe they should have beaten Cal and taken care of their business.....OU knew what they had to take care of and did so....so the bitching needs to stop....we all knew last nights game was irrelevant so lets not try to make it relevant....sort of saying you need a 4 putt to win a golf tourney and you 3 putt.....doesn't mean you didn't take care of business....you still did

OU will have its hands full no doubt against LSU....defensive lines give OU trouble.....and if you don't fall behind, you can wear out their small defense by running the ball...

In all seriousness OU fans, you have a very good team. Certainly top five, and on any given Sat they could beat anyone. Everyone said the B12 championship meant nothing, and OU had already done enough to go to the Sugar. Thats all fine and good, but any team that lays an egg in their last game and gets beat by 4 TD's doesn't deserve a shot at any title.

All that said, I could care less. Because the system screwed USC, I get to go to Pasadena and watch my wolverines play in the most important and hyped bowl game of the year.

Lets all just hope this mess gets us a playoff in 2005!
