I thought that might be the case. By chance, did you ever live in Wahiawa?

I was stationed at the Kunia Tunnel and lived at Wheeler Barracks for about a year. Loved Wahiawa. Used to go to a bakery there for "bear claws." Lived offbase in Haleiwa for two years. Spoiled me forever. Had a mango tree in our front yard. So many mangos, the branches broke. I absolutely loved Hawaii. Many, many fond memories.

Glad to know you were here quite a while, and got to appreciate the beauty and people of Hawaii. I see lots of military whenever I go to Kunia Wal-Mart to shop. I take the H-2 freeway thru Wahiawa to get to Haleiwa. Job-related excursions to Mililani otherwise. Take care, brah.
