I've never been more confident about a play like this.

BUF +4 @ DAL

Ya know how Parcells has been saying week after week that "we're not that good"? He's right!
I've been reading that some people are on Dallas cause Parcells used to coach Bledsoe and ole Bill can tell you all about Drew and his tendencies...blah, blah, blah!
First of all, who hasn't Parcells coached? This guy is the free agent market of coaching. Just because he spent time with Bledsoe outta college doesn't mean that he's in Buffaloe's playbook. And so what! Bledsoe's only 1 man, there's 21 other people that start on that team.
Dallas had a hard fought, rivalry game last week while the Bills got to sit home and watch.
Largest wager of my life on Buffalo+4. Make me or break me!

gl my man...if you really are stretching out on the bills,i hope you nail it.....

but,i personally think that bledsoe is a stiff.....i mean, the guy puts up some great numbers....but he`s very inconsistent ....he`s one of those talented qb`s that just seems to lack something.....

the bills tried to bolster that "d"....sam adams and spikes, among others...there`s talent there...maybe it`s williams....maybe a combination of williams and bledsoe....i really don`t think travis henry is a horrible back...i just think that sometimes bledsoe goes into that "deer in the headlights" mode and won`t get rid of the ball....something`s not clicking....

don`t get me wrong...not denegrating your play at all....i think the cowboys may struggle here myself....but i think that the bills have covered one spread all year....and i just feel uncomfortable taking the rubberband off witha club that`s still looking for it`s identity....has a ? coach and a statue for a qb against a pretty quick "d".....

i`d take the points, but be a little conservative....the bye had to help some....

best of luck....hope you get `em...

;)

I hear ya GW and thanks for the push in the back. I'm normally a dog player and they haven't been hitting like they usually do, but I love Buffalo in this spot.
I've never been a fan of Parcells but I give him credit so far this year. He has turned that team around.
I've never laid my entire account on 1 game, so this will be a first for me...hey, it is called gambling, right?

Hey guys,

I'm on Buffalo too though not with the level of confidence of mademan. I AM a little surprised the Bills aren't getting at least 6 points though.

FIRST LET ME SAY THAT I'M ALSO ON BUFF. With that said no one bet is worth your entire account or the rest of the season. The one big worry I have is the Buff. coach. Talk about a deer in head lights he's as sharp as a door knob. Buff. has good talent and would be much better with a sound game plan. They never seem to have a good plan. It appears the team doesn't respond to the coach. My bet is based more on the fact that Dallas will be flat and also looking ahead to the Pats game than the fact that they are the better team. I hope we are both right this weekend. GLTU

For what it's worth, I think Buff is the call too. I'm thinking there are about 3 or 4 better plays on the board but what the heck....

I don't know, I guess I'm missing something here, but I think the Bills kinda blow! They've been held to fewer than 10 pts scored three times this year. They haven't played too many teams with decent defences, but when they have their offence has gone missing.

Dallas' D is 3rd against the rush, and 1st against the pass. In their past 6 games they haven't given up more than 21 pts to anyone. The Bills are dead last in the league running the ball. And the game is in Dallas. Bills are 1-3 on the road, losing by an average margin of 23.3 pts in those 3 road losses. They've scored 7, 3 and 5 pts in their last three road games. Yow! -4 is looking a little short to me if anything.

Dallas' schedule gets quite a bit tougher after this too. They've got to be thinking they need to nail down every win they can while they have a chance.

I thought Dallas would do the overlook thing when they went into Detroit. Didn't happen at all. Sent up a warning flag to me that maybe Parcells isn't going to let them gag and lose focus against crummy teams.

Why do you guys like it so much? Maybe I've overlooked something.

Actually they're 3-5 ATS. Big wins in Week 1 and 2 over NE and Jax, and a win + cover over Wash @ home. Didn't cover in their win over Cinci, or in any of their losses. Dal is 6-2 ATS.

I probably come off sounding like a big Cowboys tout. Nothing could be further from the truth. Buff and Wash are my teams, Dallas is my least favorite team in the league. But I've made money on them this year, and I'm finding it really hard to see how the Bills pull this one off. Anyone else have an opinion / some info?

:nono:

don't waste your whole br on one play. if you hit, fantastic, but it usually leads to another "all in" play down the road that will lose.

Thanks for the opinions.
As for betting my entire account on this play, it's not that big a deal to me. It's not like I have 5 figures in there, but if i hit, I'll be close to that.
I like taking chances and if I lose......easy come easy go.
Go Bills!

Parcels will be coach of the year

Parcels will be coach of the year

and Dallas is the surprize team of the year in the NFL.

It doesn't make sense to make a large wager against a team with such forward momentuem, especially at home.

you should reconsider....

Totally agree-as a long time season ticket holder-I have been Very disappointed this year-BUT..there have been some good signs and I think here is a perfect situation.
Buffalo seems to play better on the road ag NFC teams they rarely see than Div foes. If the cowpokes play like last week-they will get beat.
Buff had a week off to "retool" and look for them to RUN the ball this week-that is all we heard this week. Henry will run for his life with Willis waiting in the wings. They can score-just need to put it together.
Dallas O will not be able to run and have to confidence in Quincy.
Buffalo wins outright 24-13
