First off this type of betting is not for the faint of heart. Its not entertaining, its not a guaranteed win even if it works out. Its not 'fun' to bet this way.

Thing is, I like a few games next Sunday and want to set up a potential big payday by playing the MNF game this way.

Ive bet this before, and honestly, its not that easy to watch if you dont have other (prop) bets going.

However, I see this game as being competitive and pretty tight. As a underdog guy, gun to head, Id have to go with Indy laying the points. Its rare but I just cant see Captain Forehead off a bye losing at home to Houston.

Still. What Im doing is a few 3 team sweetheart teasers on both sides of the game. Essentially hedging the middle of this game with a few plays on Sunday already in my pocket. Ive made a few of these bets for a normal unit, but just posting one to show how it works.

3 Team Teaser (ties lose) Make sure you bet all games with 1/2 pts to avoid this.........
Teaser tl 10fb & 7bk

Pending 11/1/10 8:35pm NFL Football 231 Houston Texans +15? * vs Indianapolis Colts
Pending 11/1/10 8:35pm NFL Football 232 Indianapolis Colts +4? * vs Houston Texans
Pending 11/7/10 4:15pm NFL Football .......

Want a straight up prop?

Im gonna roll with Reggie -2' rec yards over Andre. Thing is, my chalk was -115, and Im seeing some -140s now. Would not advise this as a play at anything higher than -130. GL if you tail.

Also, Garcon -175 over Walter to score a TD. This is good up to -200.

GL folks

I only do this move once or twice a year, when it seems like a solid bet outcome.

Unfortunately, loser on the Reggie prop as the Texans were morons and threw the ball way too much. The pick 6 early really wrenched up the play calling by getting down 14-0 early.

Meh.

Oh well.

I do this quite often just to have MNF action at a good line. I win most of them but have the other leg(s) of the teaser to deal with later in the week.

For some reason, last night, bookmaker did not have the other games open for teasers, NFL and NCAA. Wonder WTF that was all about?

Maybe they turned that off for me because I have been beating them with it

So, instead of having a good live bet riding, I lose out last night because of that :142smilie

Wouldnt think this was very common, certainly not enough to warrant a book shying away from even offering it to someone.

Alas, Ive seen many books do some creative things to keep their bottom line intact.

Limiting parlays for some people, not allowing cross sport bets, slashing limits on props, holding lines back on openers for certain players. Really, Ive seen all these things.

That being said, anyone reading this have a good recommendation for a square book thats slow to move the lines, especially halftimes.

thanks in advance
