Yeah, Im betting on it.

Between that and the friggin Daytona 500 its a non-sporting event bonanza of wagering. The real beauty is that you dont have to even follow the games to plunk down a bet or six.

If you think for a second that Im betting on the spread or total in this game then you've gone completely bonkers. No way. That being said, I do think the game will stay relatively close and have some level of excitement with both numbers in jeopardy come late 4th quarter.

Which brings us to the first bet. Keep it close, boys.

The largest lead of the game will be

Also playing this one to start things off. Not playing the three way option with scoring to start off from the stripe as it was only an extra quarter to nix that. So hey, dont bomb any threes until theres points on the board, ya savvy?

Now onto the matchups. Two in particular that stood out.
Bosh +1/2 over Duncan (points+rebounds) -110 I'll take youth over experience here.
Arenas -1/2 over McGrady (points + assists) -120 Siding with the head coaches boy.

Last play is a longshot but a good value play. Let Wade, Kobe, and Lebron get all the hype for MVP. This bet is almost always a toss up so take long odds and the darkhorse. Ming and Boozer are out, so we should get plenty of PT and this guy has the athletic ability to run with the big dogs.

That 10-1 bet on Amare was solid. Folks say all the time that a losing bet is rubbish, but a good bet is a good bet - win or lose. The guy took the second most shots in the game on the winning team and had a very decent chance to cash it. Max bet at OLY (couldnt find any other MVP offers) was only 3 dollars but a loss is a loss. Id have played it for more. Lost another three on the largest lead as the East was more worried about the Lebrons making dunk highlights vs. Vinsanity. Hell, game might have sucked to watch without the bets anyways.

Cashed in on the Bosh and first FG being a deuce, larger (meaning my personal wager) loss on Arenas. Eleven! ****ing-A McGrady! Really though GA would have put up more than 8 shots though. Cant cap that.

Overall a disappointing 2-3 night, but the make or break was the longshot MVP. Sweet win on Melo there HH, never doubt the #15. Cant call it much of a down financial evening at all on this end, but coulda, woulda, shoulda....
