Gonna take a little time and post some action/writeups.
Been doing better making 2h plays but this week there are a few that stuck out to me early on.
Crunching the numbers, reading the local papers, doing the homework hopefully will pay off, and why not share that with the forum.
Beginning with the marquee game, NYG vs NO.
The Giants have held the last three opponents to a combined 194 rushing yards. Thats combined for a 65ypg avg. Really? Who cares. Those teams were TB, Oak, and KC. They have one win among them and Im not impressed. I'll go against these Road Warriors and play the healthier QB at home laying the FG. New Orleans -3
The next big game is of course, Baltimore and Minnesota. The purple skirmish has the upset Ravens coming into the undefeated and overrated house of Favre. Speaking of, this Viks schedule looks like a who's who of nobodies. The math says that the best secondary theyve played against is Cleveland. Yeah, I looked it up again to make sure. While Brett is improving, when you take away the ground game from him then things go wrong. The Rams played much better than most ppl think versus Minne and had 5 TOs. BTW - the Rams suck. Baltimore gives up only 3.1 ypc and will make Favre beat them. Thats not gonna happen.
Sell the wranglers and take Baltimore +3.
Last but not least we have the juggernaught Eagles traveling to crazy man Al Davis house of horrors. Philly has been crusing with easy wins over TB and KC the last two weeks. Last Sunday before I finished my first beer, Oakland was down 3 scores to the NYG in a 44-7 blowout. At one point it seemed that OAK wouldnt even score. JaBUSTus is probably the worst QB in the league. Howver, the Eagles were focused last week coming in off the bye and have a MNF date with Washington on deck. After that its on with 2 more divisional games vs. NYG and DAL. This is *the* definition of letdown. Ask 10 bettors you know who they like in this game and 8 will tell you Philly. Im one of those other 2 guys. Da Raidas +14
