Very much tend to lean to playing 2h of games after watching and seeing the first 20 minutes.
Rare for me to make a 1st half play but that's how to approach this title game
VCU lost their "5th" man who had stepped into the starting role a month or so ago, he will be replaced with the former starter. Not a big change but a necessary one, VCU runs high octane pressure and is generally one of the deeper teams in terms of personnel.
St.Joes is not. They only go 7 deep and really only 6 deep if they can help it. These tourneys take it out on the short stacked team but I do like their starting 5 better.
Gladly take the better starters and the points vs the team that will have a diff chemistry going in.
Worried about fatigue or foul trouble later on so taking this in the first 20. St Joes beat VCU earlier in the season but that was at home. I think they come out hot and build a nice lead in the 1h, at least that's what my money says.....
