Eastern Washington has shot over .500 five times during their six game winning streak, and that?s bad news if you?re a Bengal fan. Over the last five years, Idaho State is 1-23 when their opponent
shoots better than .500 from the field. Conversely, the Eagles are 11-0 when breaking 50%.

Idaho State has played solid defense lately, limiting opponents to shooting .400 or worse in three of the last five games.

As long as the Eagles can handle some half court pressure and limit Poole's effectiveness on the trap - this game should end in double digits. Play the superior team thats playing better ball to come out focused while not looking ahead to the big game on Saturday. I like what Ive seen thus far from Giacoletti and the gang, but they have stumbled in this position in the past. You know what they say, if you dont learn from it, you are condemned to repeat.....

I think this should be a statement type game for the Eagles. Game tips in an hour - 9:05 EST

E.Washington -3 over IDAHO STATE

Worst case scenario, exactly what I didnt want to happen did. The trap bothered E. Wash as they committed 28 turnovers, four more than they had in any game so far this year. The Bengals were led by Poole's FIVE steals, that guy is a plague.

Throwing away five or so pts by shooting 61% from the line didnt help in a game that went double OT.

Holding a team to 37% shooting while outrebounding them usually leads to ATS wins, unfortunately not tonight.
