Putting it out there again after a dramatic push last night on BYU. Well, some money at 5' some at 6 for me, but I go by what the line is when I post.

Tonight, another "trendy" play going against a team that Ive made decent money with over the last few weeks, and Im taking a road favorite, which says plenty. Ugh.

S.Hall -3

Call it 75-66 as per the commodore.

Are you thinking about upgrading to the Commodore 128?

My laptop

Let's now take a look at my new machine, the Commodore LCD!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me tell you beforehand: The LCD is not compatible to the C=64, the differences are too big. It's nonetheless a very interesting machine.

The Commodore LCD is a portable computer with a very beautiful design, similar to the design of the C=128 and Plus/4 computers. The cursor keys (and in my opinion the function keys, too) were derived from the Plus/4, and the flat case is very similar to the C=128's (it was model for the later released C=64C).
The terminal program is of use, indeed, since the CLCD has a built in 300bps auto answer/auto-dial modem. Additionally, the C=LCD has a separate RS232C port, so there is no need to attach a userport-to-RS232C adapter for a 'real' serial port. Commodore also decided to integrate a standard centronics port; rather unusual is the HP compatible barcode port. I find the barcode port invaluble.

Lacking a builtin floppy drive, my LCD does have a serial IEC port, which was compatible with all Commodore serial peripherals. I mean, seriel IEC port, what more needs to be said.

Cant forget the wonderful eye-candy. The fast display was a new Commodore development and one of the most contrastful and biggest displays on the market. It speaks for itself.

Can I get one of those at Best Buy? Maybe I'll stop over there today and get one if they have any left in stock.
