Another prime time MAC game tonight with heavy bowl ramifications. M(OH) took care of Toledo last week holding them on a late 4th quarter drive to cover the spread in what most thought would have been a higher scoring affair. Tonight finds Toledo on the road yet again against a familiar foe in N.ILL.
I went against the Rockets last week in a similar road dog situation but my mathematical formula has them coming out on top tonight. My numbers install N.ILL as a 4' pt favorite, so there is some line value due to last weeks results. However, I'm going to pass up on the points and take Toledo to win at +230 which has a 41.6% chance of bringing home an outright winner.
Quite simply Toledo owns N. Illinois with a 25-6 record including the last 10 in a row. Toledo also qualifies in a 6-2-1 ATS road bounceback angle after their poor offensive output and I expect them to be on the scoreboard quite a bit. I don't put much stock in certain trends, but you cannot be oblivious to them. The streak continues tonight.
