Been looking forward to the World Cup since the SuperBowl was over and I quit kicking myself for not taking the Saints ML.

Starting off with a fun bet. After checking the odds and looking over the field as who to take for the Golden Boot. Ended up going with the #2 striker on a team that should reach the semis if not the final, giving me more chances to put the ball in the back of the net. At these odds, the bet is only for a 1/2 unit but pays out the wazoo. Locked this in a little while ago after the announcement that Brazil was leaving off some major 'superstar' talents like Ronaldinho to focus on a more defensive style. Yeah, right. How many times can you get a goalscorer on a team like Brazil at over 40/1 odds. I'll bite and if this hits it will be like missing one number on the powerball.

Really unsure what to expect from this Nigeria / Argentina match, so Im playing a prop for 1/2 unit.

Just hoping that this game isnt the first 'breakout' scoringfest and that Nigeria plays it close to the vest and tries to steal one with a quick counter or such. Going into this one with a wide open mentality is against everything Ive seen in the first 3 games and its hard to put much stock into some of their qualifiers final results.
