My Pleasure DTB,
Feel MUCH very MUCH better. I almost cannot believe how fast the human body starts to turn it around and heal itself.I am comfortable drinking coffee now and actually have gone from 2 pots a day to 2 mugs (sometimes not even that)I just don't want it much without the smokes. Blood Pressure is well within normal range now about 130/76.........from 140/90 and breathing easy. I'm still lifting just a little and walking a few times a week.
Sometimes I feel like a cigarette but no real temptation....and MOST of the time I'm just mad that I stayed hooked for so damn long..
This time was tough for me without patch or gum and I have to watch my weight but ,guess what, I'll be happy to watch my weight...without smoke. I've seen lung cancer and it aint pretty.....We've done the right thing!!!!! and can now feel great about that for ourselves and our families.
Good Luck today

Jack....
This is important...YOU GOT IT BEAT!!!
You will continue to clear that crap out of your lungs in the AM for awhile and will really wanna lite up a lot the first week. I remember that sometimes I thought the worst was way over but then got some really big temptations after 5 or 6 days...Still get em once in a while....but I dont give a crap and they last 2 seconds. I suppose if I were to dwell on it I could even talk myself into smoking again but NO, NO, NO......I consider myself a NON_SMOKER now...and I dont even entertain the thoughts anymore...They are basically ....NO PROBLEM.
Jack..try some walking to speed the (get in shape) process....You've got it beat and your gonna feel great real soon....coughing and throat clearing will subside gradually but you wont believe the difference in a month. Stay Strong! That NICOTINE is NOT finished talking to you yet! Go get em!

Jack A little bout your coughing now.Never have coughed in morning while smoking however a while back when I quit I did start coughing up nasty $hit in the morning after a few days. Was told it was the stuff that had been coating my lungs for some time finally breaking loose. So thats a good sign
