NORCO, California _ ., June 15 Reuters - A private golf tournament in Norco has , California, added a new hazard to the game _ getting arrested for prostitution.
Police said they arrested six people at the the Hidden Valley Golf Club at the weekend on Friday after they received a tip-off.
``As part of the golf tournament, sex acts were offered to participants for a fee,'' said Lisa McConnell at the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. in Riverside County, east of Los Angeles.
``There were tents set up around the course, where people could pay for sex.''
Police detained 100 people for at questioning and arrested three for pimping and pandering and two for prostitution. and one for possession of a controlled substance.
The name of the group sponsoring name was not disclosed and McConnell said it was not clear if the golf club's owners of the golf club knew of the paid sex.
