Hey Jack.....Sorry If I offended anyone ( except Ripper.....guess your webtv must have brought you back here by mistake ) but it was a "Burning question" that a friend of mine had :grins:. I just figured with the diverse group of people around here ( health care people and Dr.'s ) that I could get a straight answer for this. I really and truthfully just wanted to know! I guess some folks are just not mature enough to handle a honestly informative discussion. I don't see the harm but like you said you must keep the peace! No hard feelings I hope!

I get tickled pink when I see a grown man go tell on someone else because they were offended by a thread. And then create an entirely new thread thanking Jack for closing it, as if their moral obligation to locking a thread deserved further attention from all of us.

Read the thread, if you decide you don't like it, back out and ignore it...simple as that. Quit being a geek your whole life and stop worrying about what other people are doing with theirs.

Asking someone to ignore a post is silly - of course anyone who sees it and all other posts here will shape their opinions about the forum from what they read.

We all have our own reasons for coming here and giving our feedback to Jack (I was one of those that complained btw) only serves to help the site evolve faster. My humble opinion is that threads like that one will only help steer the forum down a road where it no longer becomes useful for your average sportsbettor to visit.
