Although his course form is not brilliant 25th in 99' and 32nd in 2000 - on current form Scott Lay**** has to be fancied at the 33/1 available at Stan James (20/1 W Hill & Bet365, 16 Ladbrokes & 14 Coral). ANZ 2nd, Heineken 11th, Australian Open 2nd (late last year) plus a host of top 5's in Japan before that.

Now there's a treble.... 33/1 Lay****, Els 11/2 & Daly 16/1 (better elsewhere!).... 3756/1 ;)

A little shorter than my normal range, but Stephen Leaney has been on great form recently and Bet365's 16/1 compares well with the 9 that Coral offer.

The oft-discussed Andrew McLardy is priced at 66 with Stan James, Bet 365 have already trimmed him..Coral go 20/1

Laykcoc (not a typo... forum doesn't seem to allow the k) had a disastrous four hole finish of double bogey, double bogey (par 5), bogey, par.... to chuck away the place money... if anybody is near enough slap him about a little for me.... just in case my sharp pins in the wax effigy don't work :(
