I am very optimistic the Jaguars may make some noise this year. It all starts protecting Garrard. He has to have time. With Monroe and Britton having a year behing them and hoping they stay healthy inside he may have what he needs. But there are still questions about the recievers. Walker looks like he could be a good one if healthy and Thomas could step up. But no big names. Drew will be Drew. He is such a baller.
The defense starts with getting a pass rush which they have not had in several years. With the addition to Kampman which will play on the right side and Harvey moving left and the addition of Morrison hopefully they can get some sacks. Still huge questions with the defensive backfield. Knighton is going to be a good run stuffer. Gotta see what Alualu is going to do.
Lots of question marks but if everything comes together and stay healthy I think they have a shot at the playoffs. The National media is giving them no chance. I think they could suprise. Remember the went 11-5 and beat pitt twice in pitt in 2007 with Garrad being a hardnosed team and having time to throw. I think Jack is trying to get them back to that type of team philosphy.
