I really think this is a factor in him being tired now.If he had rested for two months last summer hed have some gas left in the tank .he is paying the price for playing year round for the last 21 months and its possible it will cost him the nba championship.still gonna play them Sunday coming off the loss.......

He is young and in great shape, If that was even a remote possibility, he wouldn't do it. He seems tired because he is frustrated by not getting any help from Wade or Bosh. At least that's my opinion. What happened last summer would have affected him long before now.

Elludes agree with ya a ton on here, but not sure it would change much if he didn't play....all these guys play summer leagues and pick up all year....they are world class athletes...

His body has had plenty of rest with sweeps over bucks and breaks during season.....

I just think the heat aren't that great...

I picked em to win and think james is best, but I believe its just more of a product of being surrounded by norris cole and mario chalmers then it is anything else....they are decent players....but spurs have much better depth..

Still think lebron takes over for a series win.

Just food for thought.....I think it contributes physically and especially mentally, but am not strongly vested in arguing the opinion or anything.

You could be right...but how good is he if he's playing on an empty tank and still gets a triple double...I'm not a fan of james by any means...just saying...

He is plenty great but not as tough mentally as MJ. And I always hear about how he can guard every position on the floor, but vs Indiana I could not believe it when I saw Paul George lighting him up in crunch time no less at the end of game six or four, can't remember, but I remembered thinking that Jordan's man never lit him up at games end, time after time at the end of an important playoff game.just yesterday parker scored the pivotal basket w lbj guarding him.his d isn't Jordanesque.

Oh hell noooo...James should not be mentioned in the same sentence as MJ. Not in the same paragraph or same f'n book for that matter. And you're right. Jordan's man was always on lockdown in crunch time. Not to mention Mike was completely unguardable. Rememeber all the "Jordan-stoppers" :mj07:

Can you imagine if MJ was playing today and you couldn't have a forearm on his back? he would have easily averaged 40 for about 8 seasons....

Ok, I will argue the point for a moment: So people get tired because they are "Frustrated"? With their teammates poor play.....really interesting.I'm gonna take myself out in a key section of the fourth qtr of an nba finals game one because of " frustration. " frustration doesn't make a player tired, overexertion does. Exactly how do u know that playing last summer would have effected him "earlier"?? It seems far more likely to me that he thought it would not effect him, and he misjudged by approximately two weeks. Also, He is at the age where a person realizes what its like to b tired for the first time.....it happened to me at 28,I Remember trying to indentify what this strange feeling was that I felt...maybe James thought it would b no problem last summer and is clearly getting a surprise now.I say u don't fully recover ur stamina in a few days or a week after playing preseason games,82 regular season games, and around 20 more playofff games, playing the oympics in the summer and then doing the nba season again. Summer league and pickup games don't require any mental preparation.playing Spain does and mental exertion contributes to tiredness. He would b tired right now regardless of how well his teammates were playing.I think tomarrow will b very very revealing re: James's legacy.

I'm not saying he is tired because he is frustrated....

I'm just saying I don't think he looks tired.

I think he looks frustrated...

How can you get tired from having bad teammates?

You got it right...

Remember how pissed off Lebron got in the Bulls series...He & Carlos Boozer got into it.

I could imagine what he would do driving in the paint and meeting up with Anthony Mason & Charles Oakley.

Michael will always be the greatest for me.

Lebron doesn't do it for me at all.

He has 4 MVP awards. But he has no one to beat out. There are only a few super stars. Durant,Anthony,Paul,Rose .

This day and age teams don't even have 1 super star hall of fame players. The Suns,Pistons,Jazz,Magic,Bobcats,Bucks just to name a few have 0 stars.

Michael had to beat out hall of famers to win a league MVP.

These are some of the super stars that were in the league when Michael played.

I picked the 1990 all star game.....

Check-out some of these names....Thomas,Ewing,Barkley,Bird,Parrish,Mchale,Wilkens,Pipppen,Miller,Magic,Olajuwan,Robinson,Drexler,Mullin ....

I can go on and on.

Lebron has it easy....no competition.

Tks...

And yes he is the best player in the league no doubt.

It's a watered down league though.

Michael could take a 15 foot jumper at the buzzer with a defender in his face and drain it.

Lebron is not a pure shooter.....never will be.

Yeah he can muscle you down low and drive to the hoop like he did in game 1 versus the Pacers.

Michael & Kobe are the 2 best hoop players in my time.

Joe Montana,Tom Brady & Lawrence Taylor are the best football in my time.

And that's not to mention what a Bill Laimbeer or Xavier Mcdaniels would do, even John Starks would have got his licks in

Now that I'm thinking about it there is one series you can refer to to completely sum up MJ's career...Bulls/Knicks 1992 conference semifinals. Forget about watching him drop 63 vs Celts or 69 vs Cle or all his championship MVP games...This series will tell you everything you need to know about his athletic ability, skills, heart and determination to win. Game 7 of this series in my mind was probably MJ's toughest game going in and the things he did in that game will NEVER be eclipsed. Here is one small example: Jordan's just inside the 3pt marker, breaks a double team, soars down the lane past Xman and makes a layup. He then steals the inbound pass, Xman pokes it away to Starks and leads Xman down court. Xman has at least a 10 foot head start yet Jordan hustles his way down court to smack the ball out of his hands on a WIDE open layup. All this happens in a matter of 10 seconds. If I could only watch 10 seconds of his career it would be that moment.

Make all the basketball player comparisons you want with whom ever you want from any day and age. Just leave Mike out of it because he was on a WHOLE different level....

Like it or not, I think Labron will go down as the greatest of all time when his career is over. It is not because he is a better player than MJ. It is because he has physical assets that are unprecedented. That fast and agile at 300 pounds??? Are you kidding me?

Believe it or not this is his 10th year in the league already...

Only 1 ring to show so far.

If the Heat don't win this series then what?

He'll probably be stuck on 1 ring forever.

He dropped in 42 that game....Bulls won by about 30.

Even the roll players or bench players back when Michael played were real good compared to now.

Remember the Cavs in 92....Nance,Price,Daugherty,and Kerr ...

suppose I could look it up

I don't know why I thought I heard it...maybe I am way wrong

Yes same age (28) but it took LeBron longer as he didn't go to college. Jordan also won 6 out of 7 once he got number 1, the year the Bulls didn't win it, Jordan was off fucking around playing baseball:facepalm:
