Hope everyone had a lucrative weekend with the NFL playoffs..... I will have to tell the story on the Chiefs game when I get a chance. Lots of emotion, lots of excitement, lots of ebb and flow.

Going to post in this thread this week.... Too lazy to start new ones each day.

So far...

Maryland (R) +4......10 u 💪 💪 💪 * Strongest Side (my revenge darlings are back at it looking to take down a mediocre Rutgers club, on their home court, hopefully to return the favor)

Missouri/Auburn Over 141....10 u 💪 💪 💪 * Strongest total *I bet this at 144 early am, then proceeded to add more when it stabilized at 141. Obviously the total swing has me a little concerned, but Im staying with my power numbers (I capped at 149)......

May add one more.

Well unfortunately I didn't read the tea leaves and refused to put my ego in check (or something like that). The 4 point swing had me scratching my head all day long, and I started digging into the latest news for both teams, but didn't get much back. I was thinking perhaps COVID had reared its ugly head (especially on Auburn) but wasn't the case.

The line moved 4 points in the early am hours, which tells me that sharp, whale money, or some group had made a move (obviously not the one that I'm associated with).

Here's Auburn, with a chance to impress voters and the committee, with their shiny, new ranking, and comes out and lays an egg. *to an inferior opponent, I might add (Missouri was smothered by Arkansas a couple of weeks ago by 40 points???

So what happened? I haven't had a chance to watch the tape yet (but I will. Maybe, I don't need to. From what I can see by box score, Missouri game plan was to slow the game down, and choosing not to run with Auburn (probably a smart decision....and looks like they should've pulled off the upset).

Coaching game plan worked, and I can imagine that as the game unfolded, and Auburn couldn't get into their fun and gun offense, that frustration took over and probably some poor decisions (especially in shot selection) *need to check out the Missouri Defensive Rebounds compared to Auburn Offensive Rebounds. *especially if it was a one and out scenario the whole game through.

So in summary, someone got ahold of the Missouri Coaching Game plan and mission statement for this particular game. Happens more than we know, just need to learn to adjust. Sorry for the ramble.

Auburn couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat and Misery did slow downs the tempo. I didn't watch a whole lot, but did catch some of the game. Classic letdown spot for Auburn. I had Misery +13 for double my Over wager so wasn't too upset.

Sorry I missed this LOB......... Or maybe not? Lol......... While my numbers have improved considerably the past 2 seasons in the PAC 12 MBB..... I still am very careful to pick my spots in the conference. With that being said, and with Arizona and UCLA capable of being offensive juggernauts, I certainly see where you were going with it. Are fans back in the gym yet @ UCLA? It's one of those intangibles that makes it hard to gauge. Sometimes, when you put 2 great offenses together = less points (maybe it's Covid or some other negative factor (intangible) that we can't see. Haven't had a math class since college, isn't it a Positive X Negative = Negative? Or something like that...... :wtf:

Yeah, seeing some strange differences between various injury reports. Makes me think that Coaches are saying fuk it and playing around Covid. Wasn't but 2 weeks ago and we were seeing 40 games canceled or ppd on a Saturday. Now, they have 150 games on Sat. *Everyone getting a little tired of this whole Covid ordeal and with the CDC changing the quarantine rules at the drop of a hat, im surmising that perhaps schools are masking their positive Covid numbers. Something stinks. I don't blame the schools, they need the revenue from television and other ad money, but I'm pretty sure the NCAA hasn't developed "herd immunity" in the span of 14 days.
