He's the ultimate riding gypsy, I have seen him ride everywhere from Bay Meadows to the east coast. The last time I saw him he was in Chicago just a couple of weeks ago.

Don't know how old you are but perhaps you remember a rider named Mike Moran. He came up at Thistle where he regularly won riding titles in the 80's and and also rode a bit at Mountaineer. He was forced to retire due to weight problems and fell out of sight. Well, nine years later he has taken the weight off and booted home a huge shot in Fridays 2nd at Hollywood. Quite a story.

Well, to recap Lumpkins had seven mounts sunday and won two highlighted by Linnie belle in the 8th who kicked back a nice $19 and change mutual.
I bet all seven horses $10/10 W&P including a couple of slugs that really had no chance for a profit of a paltry $24.

Will continue the strategy tonight and hope Jason will continue to return a positive ROI.

Mon:
Race1 #6 Honey Hunter
Race 2 #7 Trick your man
( #2 Chars Still Here will be tough to beat, good connections)

Race 4 #2 Miss Adams
race 7 #8 Sunset Passion

All four should be at a good price, I have not yet and may not have time to download the form and cap tonights card.

Sunset Passion ($15.20)got it done in the 7th for his only winner of the night. $ 101 return from an $80 investment for the night, so I've made a bit of pocket change anyways.

As bad as my 'capping has been recently, I'll take it

spang--Thanks for the info!
Timing is everything. I missed the first three Lumpkins ran, tossed Sunset in with Mary Swan for a nice exacta payout in the 7th.

Good hit yardbird, That exacta was sweet considering that Mary Swan was a 4/5 chalk, I couldn't believe it kicked back $50+

For tuesday,I will change the wager amounts based more on the ability of the animal. In fairness to Mr. Lumpkins he has had a few dead mounts that Jesus himself could not have booted home. Some of his mounts tonight will be well backed. Time to start going after them.

Race 1)#2 Skip the blues $20 W&P
Race4 )#1D Desert Dancer $20 W&P
Race 8) #1 Lets Make Life $5W&P
Race9) #8 Sarah Jade $40W&P
Race 10)#4 Good to Know $5 W&P

Total investment $180

GL ALL

Pen fan, Damn was that horse ever dead empty I too thought he was no worse than 2nd in that field.

The short priced Sarah Jade (4.80) was the only cash of the night resulting in a return of $144 for a net loss of $36 for Tues night.

Still in the black on Mr. Lumpkins, but just barely.
