There still is competition for spots (maybe more)
If anything, the events should foster a greater sense of urgency to the team.
They are still trying for the playoffs.
The Dolphins still have 2 good and 2 descent QBs. The offense SHOULD want to pick it up a notch. RB Williams and WR Boston were not going to play more than a couple of series anyway. The defensive attitude now is more like Baltimore's.
If the Jaguars also expect the Dolphins to not show up, then they will be steam-rolled.
I wouldn't be surprised to see a score like
