How are you feeling about all of the stuff coming out? Sounds like it's bad to me. You don't see an AD come out very often and apologize to the other conference schools for everything.

I wouldn't want Tech to be in OSUs shoes right now. I think the NCAA will be looking to come down hard on someone since they got laughed at for Johnny Football. IMO they give a slap on the hand to big name programs and save the hard stuff for programs like OSU.

I hope it all ends up ok for them because unlike some or most other conference foes I don't wish bad things for other teams in my conference. It doesn't do anything good to have a team like OSU go down for something like this.

They are not in trouble yet. Just because someone writes it does not make it true. I have not read the report but the framework looks like it could be damaging. Just remember one of the 2 investigative reporters that wrote the report (Thayer Evans) is a huge OU homer and despises The Pokes. OU cannot stand the fact that we have risin to such heights and have some of the best facilities in the country. Time to see if the program can be brought down. It appears Thayer went to great lengths to dig up the dirt. I am not condoning infractions that may be factual if any. But This is not the first witch hunt Thayer has been on. Anyone close to the program know's that Mike Gundy, Mike Holder and yes T. Pickens have the upmost of integrity and we are all proud what the Athletic programs have accomplished. It appears most of it stems from Les Miles era. We will see if there is any infractions recent enough to incur sanctions. Not a good day for the school for sure. Damn

One thing I couldn't understand is the OSU AD apologizing to all of the Big 12 AD's. Why apologize if these are only allegations?

Because it embarasses the conference, it's just ettiquette, Corley.

If this sanctions are true and they were that long ago, nothing really will happen for that time periond, however, this could open a can of worms on what is going on in the program now. Someone always likes to stir the pot when they get burnt some how along the way, whether it's a booster, former alum, writer, player, etc.

Heck it could have come out from one of their 70 year old retired hookers who can't get any anymore!!

Whether any of it is true or not, the statute of limitations are past for most of the allegations. It's going to come down to no money trail just like Manzeil thing. So a few players said they received money and saw others receive money. The main players are denying it all. No proof. Just a way to sell magazines and advertising.

I will say this though. Gino Torretta was on the radio today saying he doesn't believe a coach could be involved. He's either outright lying or a fool to believe that. When Wacker turned in his own TCU players, an assistant coach was found to be involved in payments to players.
