Quin Snyder and company put together a winning game plan last month to snap a 13-game losing streak to the Los Angeles Clippers.

But the best laid plans of coaches and players often wind up on the injury report.

Already missing center Rudy Gobert, who is working his way back from a knee injury, the Jazz could be without starting forward Derrick Favors, who is dealing with back spasms. Favors did not participate in the team?s morning shootaround and is listed as questionable to play Saturday night against the Clippers.
"Obviously if he can?t play it?s harder," Snyder said after shootaround.

Favors is second on the Jazz in scoring, averaging 16.8 points a game. If Favors can?t play, it seems likely center Jeff Withey would get the start at center in his place.
"He?s a big piece of what we do both offensively and defensively," forward Gordon Hayward said of Favors. "He?s been great for us this year. We just have to have somebody step up [if he can?t play]. We?ve had other guys that have filled in when he?s been out before that have done a great job and we have to do it again tonight.

"Without potentially two of our starting bigs, it?s going to have to be on all of us, not just the guys replacing them. Everybody?s going to have to step up and have a big game."
