JEDI ..WHY DO INCLUDE ONLY THE LAST 10..REGARDING HOME/AWAY STATISTICS? AND DO YOU ELIMINATE THE HIGHEST AND LOWEST TOTAL BY EACH TEAM? THANKS

I normally look at the season and last 10 games. The reason I look at the last 10 or so games is to look for any type of trend. Personally, I place more weight on the more recent games as I believe it better reflects the way the team is currently playing.
As far as the way the averages are calculated that is a trade secret. Just kidding, I usually don't have the time to put these averages together myself so I just pull them off of various sites such as VegasInsider and phoenixsports (props to Monkey for this site).

I CERTAINLY AGREE THAT THE LAST 10 GAMES ARE A GOOD INDICATOR .....THE WAY I CACULATED THE TWO GAMES TONIGHT I CAME OUT WITH A 129.5 FOR THE CUSE GAME AND 146 FOR THE BYU GAME BUT THATS JUST MY CALCUALTIONS....AND A LOT OF GOOD CAPPERS ARE ON THAT CUSE OVER SO GOOD LUCK BUT I'M GOING TO PASS.. I WILL SAY THIS, HOWEVER, I THINK A BETTER INDICATOR IS TO LOOK AT THE HOME/AWAY GAMES OF EACH TEAM...IT SEEMS LOGICAL THAT SIMILAR CIRCUMSTANCES (ROAD/HOME) ARE A BETTER INDICATOR OF HOW TEAMS WILL REACT ....SO EVEN IF YOU TAKE THE LAST TEN GAMES (AS YOU DO)OF BOTH RICHMOND AT HOME AND CUSE ON THE ROAD....WITHOUT ELIMINATING THE HIGHEST SCORE OR LOWEST SCORE(WHICH I DO) ...I THINK YOU MAY GET A DIFFERENT NUMBER THAN IN THE 130'S...REGARDLESS .....LIKE I SAID PLENTY OF GOOD CAPPERS ON THAT OVER..SO VERY BEST OF LUCK..COOZ
