JETS/STEELERS Under 31 ? This total opened at 32.5, but a wave of Under money has dropped it down to 31. Steelers coach Bill Cowher has announced that Kordell Stewart will only play 2 or 3 series, and that Tommy Maddox will take a majority of the snaps. While Maddox is a better pure passer than Kordell, he is not nearly as mobile, making him much easier for the Jets defense to defend. Also, the Pittsburgh receiving corps is rather suspect anyway, especially with the defection of Bobby Shaw. In fact, Pittsburgh is using former Indiana University QB Antwaan Randle El as a wide-out! The Steelers do have a very deep RB corps, so look for them to run the ball well and run the ball often, which generally favors the Under. The Under is now 7-2 in all Pittsburgh pre season games the last 3 years, including a perfect 4-0 here at home. The Jets are expected to take a long look at Chad Pennington at QB. The former Marshall standout should have his hands full, especially considering that he will be facing the Steelers? first string defense early in the game. The Jets usually don?t score as much on grass, as the Under is now 9-3 in their last 12 pre season games on the natural stuff. Add this all up, and I expect a rather boring, low scoring contest.

I totlaly disagree with you when it comes to the Steelers WR's. This is a much better unti than most people think. Besides Plaxico Burress and Hines Ward (most likely 2 series tonight), they have some quality sleepers. Look for Terrence Mathis to try and get in the mix tonight, Troy Edwards to play well (he jas had a solid camp), and newcomer Lee Mays to play well. I have been following Steelers news and it looks like Pitt may keep 6 WR's this year (the first time Cowher has done this).

With Charlie Batch trying to earn the backup job and a better group of WR's, I actually like the over. I am only playing the side (Pitt -5.5), but the WR corps is alot better than you think. Good luck to ya as I'm not playing the over!!
