Valuist....I agree. Myself and the pub are on Oak and MJ's is on SD. Hate going against this place, but this is a no-brainer in my eyes.

In the Hilton contest San Diego was picked 56 times to 27 for Oakland. Out of the top 12 contestants in the contest they went for SD 4-1. To me that's an indication of how the public is going.

I would say the breakfast table guy. I also go by a few media guys; they always seem to play the same teams; and they are too late to the party when a team is on the improve (sure after 5 wins in a row, Wash became the media darling but they didn't mention them after 2 or 3 wins).

The "public" is all bettors. Handicappers or not. Go to any consensus page and you'll have a good idea where the players are leaning. What I like to do is get everyone together at work and ask who will cover each game. More than not, all pick the same sides and they all LOVE the same games. Today all of my employees picked NY and OAK and both overs. As you can tell, they would have gone 1-3. Today in the OAK game, I thru this philosophy out the window because one team had sumthing to play for and the other didn't. I should have played AZ as well, but promised myself I wouldn't touch a game with either of these teams. SD should have covered this # however, and if they had, my employees would have been 0-4.
