Like you said, didn't want to take up all the space in Big Game Hunter's thread....

North Central? Mason City area I'm guessing?

Liking the over a great deal and will be pulling the trigger on that one at the best line I can find at my books tonight...

Will wait until game time for a side play, especially if it gets below 3 points..... just love to go against public line moves....my bad.... line is moving the other way...Iowa -5.5 now..... may have to skip a side play and just pound the total...........

You ever go to any Iowa games? I haven't missed a home game in over 11 years. 5 PM kickoff for Iowa State on the 14th.... that one should be quite crazy.

You ever make it to IC for a game, let me know and we can meet up for a beer......:D:

Red-
I now live in the Algona area west of Mason city, however, I grew up North and East of Mason City...

I try to get to a couple of games every year, its been a few years since I've made it to a big ten game, but this is the year...I work in the Ag Industry so fall is not a good time for me. I guess I will have to go in the COLD :) I will drop you a note when I know which game we are going to so we can get together for a beer.

Iowa V. Iowa St. , 5PM kickoff, National TV, all adds up to a very crazy atmosphere..lotsa drunks, lotsa scoring, maybe a fight or two - should be a great game....Can't wait...
The State fans seem to think they can't lose this game but I dunno, think it could be closer than they think - it will be interesting to see the point spread on this one.

I'm going to pound the total, I just don't see anyway it stays under 60 pts...my book has the line back at -5.5 so I'm laying off for now...

Enjoy the game, I will be at the Ia State game this weekend (free tickets, and a drunken tailgate got me there ;) ) so I will give you the naked eye State update on Monday...

Good Luck with whatever you play

JB:D

Iowans!

Iowans!

Nice to see so many Iowans (or close to it- here at Jack's)

Bahama Mama lives in Minnesota(Boo!) now, but she's an Iowan by birth and would live here if she could. Davenport is home for her, and we've gotten together over a few beers before.....:D

Hawkeye-

Completely forgot about you being from the Maxwell area. pass through Maxwell on the way to the in-laws house in Nevada. Its a blink and you miss it kind of town.....

joebell--

Yeah, being in ag work in Iowa in the fall means NO time to do anything-- know plenty of people in your situation. By all means, let me know what games you are planning on attending. If you can make it to Homecoming you could meet KCWolf as well-- another Iowan living away from home-- Not sure what to expect at the Iowa/Iowa State game. Them 'clone fans have gotten pretty arrogant the last few years since they started winning games in the series again. It sure was nice when we were winning every year for 20 straight years, huh?

LMAO about the crack next to the cornfield-- EVERYTHING in Iowa is next to a corn field-- or a bean field.......

Come to think of it, has anyone seen a Cy-Clown fan here at Jack's? If your just out there lurking and you see this, Clown fan............. this is for you...:thefinger

Good luck this weekend, fellas, and GO HAWKS!
